For this assignment, you will go to Code.org Links to an external site. and complete Course D Links to an external site.. 

First, you will need to create an account for Code.org (this will help save your work). 

Then you will need to go to the course catalogue and scroll down until you see the Elementary School section. Click on Learn More.

Then scroll down until you find Course D. Click on View Course to begin.

For a simpler view, click on the white button on the right side of the screen.

For your assignment, you will go through the modules of Course D. Remember that these are designed for 3rd-6th graders so some of the modules will be very simple and won't take you much time. Your assignment is to finish the modules in each section of Course D (Sequencing, Events, Loops, Conditionals, Binary, Digital Citizenship, and End of Course Project). You progress will be marked by green icons when you have completed lessons.

You will be graded on how much of the course you complete (80% of the course completed equals 80% grade, 50% of the course completed equals 50% grade).

To turn in your assignment, take a screenshot (or multiple screenshots) showing how much of the course you have completed. Turn in the screenshots that show your progress through the course. 

 

Extra Credit (+1 point): Complete the assignment survey Links to an external site. to let us know how long this assignment took you, how much you learned, and what questions you have.  In order to receive your extra credit you MUST indicate in the comments on this assignment that you completed the survey.
