A1.5 Teacher & Technology Inquiry

Overview

The purpose of any learning is to enrich our lives and experiences. However, without understanding WHY learning something is applicable or meaningful to us, it is soon ignored and forgotten.  To help understand what technology is actually being valued by educators, you will conduct a short interview (30 minutes more or less) with an in-service teacher and record their responses to the following questions. 

• • • What is your philosophy on using technology in your classroom?
    • What technology do you use in your classroom? Why?
    • What technology do you NOT use? Why?
    • What technology do you WISH you could use? Why?
      
    • What strategies do you use to integrate technology into your classroom?
