A6.1 Passion Project
Take some time to explore what a Makerspace is and if it is something that would be useful for your discipline (and working with other disciplines to be interdisciplinary). After exploring, see the assignment description below. Here are some sites to help you:

If a MakerSpace doesn’t seem to fit your discipline well, explore other resources that you could use in your discipline (thinking toward being interdisciplinary). Here are some resources: http://www.amazingeducationalresources.com/ Links to an external site.
For this assignment, take some time to explore online resources that are interesting to you and fit well with your discipline. Think especially about what you can use in your future classroom and how you can do more interdisciplinary activities with your future students. Then write a 1-page SINGLE SPACED paper about your exploration and how you can be more interdisciplinary in your future classroom especially with Makerspaces and STEAM.
