ASSIGNMENT: Code.org Project

For this assignment, you will go to Code.org Links to an external site. and complete one "hour of code" assignment.

  1. First, you will need to create an account for Code.org (https://studio.code.org/users/sign_in). 
  2. Second, navigate to https://hourofcode.com/us/learn Links to an external site. and complete one of the following "hour of code" exercises:
    1. Minecraft (https://hourofcode.com/mchoc Links to an external site.)
    2. Write your first computer program (https://hourofcode.com/code Links to an external site.)
  3. When you have completed the activity:
    1. Put your name on the certificate
    2. Copy and save the certificate and upload it to Canvas as evidence that you completed this activity (you can click on "print" and then right-click on the picture and choose, "save image as...") (9 points)
