This assignment builds on the assignment your team completed last week. Now you will take your outline (modified by my feedback) and organize it into a working document version of your final report.
Organize your team's template to fit your outline. Delete sections that do not apply, and ensure that you have enough sections (and the right kind of sections) for each team member's contributions. Copy and paste in any work you have already done from previous team assignments. Write as much as you can about everything you have to report thus far. This can be really rough--you're just trying to get some text into the document so you can see where your major holes are, and what still needs to be done.
One thing that you will need to coordinate is the description of data, data cleaning, and descriptive statistics. In some cases, team members will be using different sets of data (subsets, differently formatted datasets, etc.). In such cases, it makes most sense to describe the general data collection together in one section of the paper, and then more specific data cleaning procedures in the sections where that analysis is discussed.
The same is true of descriptive statistics. You will probably want to summarize the full dataset earlier in the paper as it applies to the full project, but each teammate will likely want to describe their own dependent (and key independent) variables in the sections where they describe their models.
You will want to work out these details and outline them in the report. Where possible, you can copy/paste in individual work to be edited as part of the team document.
In addition to the intra-template notes and analysis your team has at the end of this session, you should also update the table of contents (it automatically updates based on style formatting) and ensure that the table of contents reflects the outline for your team project.
With this working document in hand, you should be able to make meaningful assignments for each team member regarding the analysis and writeup that still needs to be completed. Make those assignments and note them IN THE BODY OF THE DOCUMENT as well as anywhere else you need to in order to ensure that everyone is on the same page.
Turn in your draft template document. Don't worry--I know it will be messy at this point. I'd like to see where we are with each project before we leave on Thanksgiving break :)
