Group Project: Community partner orientation

The purpose of this assignment is to ensure that proper contact has been made with the community partner by the student team. You are responsible for managing the agenda and content of the first meeting, though you will want to discuss (at a minimum) the following items:

• The content of the database
• The research/analysis questions of the community partner (ensuring that these are within the scope of our analytic capacity)
• Current contact information and procedures
• Scheduling checkpoints during the semester
• Scheduling the final presentation
• Arranging for the transfer of data from the partner to the student team
