Many schools and districts now require their teachers maintain a class website. The good news is you do not have to build your own website from scratch. In fact, many website builders don't even require that you know how to code at all. HOWEVER, knowing how to code a website is an important skill because it allows you to troubleshoot and to make edits that you may not otherwise be able to do if you don't know how to code.
To enable you to tweak and edit websites that you might build as a teacher, you will learn the basics of HTML. HTML is the language that websites are built upon. Watch this short video for an introduction to HTML.
