Adding Google Drive as an App

  1. In your Canvas course, open Settings. Select Navigation.
  2. Select the menu button, then click + Enable. At the bottom of the page, click Save. Google Drive will now appear in the course level navigation.

Unlinking Google Drive as an App

Once you log into Canvas, on the left hand side of the screen under the Global Navigation Menu, select your account.

When your account opens up, click on the "Settings" option.

In your settings, you will scroll down until you see the section called, "Approved Integrations." Under approved integrations you will see an option that says, "Google Drive LTI IAD-Prod." To the right of that you will see a "trash" icon. Click on the "trash" icon.

 After clicking the trash icon, you might receive a pop up window that asks if you are sure that you want to delete it. Click yes. It will then be disconnected. The user might also have to go into their Google Drive account and unlink Canvas from in there in the "Manage Apps" section. Once unlinked in there, Log out of both the Google Drive account and the Canvas account. When the user logs back into Canvas they should be successfully unlinked from their Google Drive account.
