Turnitin Integration
Turnitin is a service that will check student submissions for plagiarism against a wide database of information. It can be enabled for individual assignments within Canvas.
1. Assignments
In your Canvas course, select Assignments [1]. Then click the + Assignment button [2].
On the following assignment creation page, fill out necessary information, such as Assignment Name, Description, and Points.
2. Submission Type
In the "Submission Type" box, select External Tool from the dropdown [1]. Then click Find [2].
Find and click Turnitin within the list of external tools [1]. Then click Select [2].
Continue setting up the assignment. Turnitin is now enabled for this assignment.
