This article describes how to integrate RedShelf eBooks into Canvas courses.

1. Open Course Modules

select courses

In Global Navigation, select Courses [1]. Then open the course [2] you’re linking RedShelf into.

Click on Modules.

2. Add an External Tool to the Module

Click the + button in the module you are adding RedShelf to.

Select External Tool [1] from the dropdown. From the list that appears, choose RedShelf eBooks [2]. You may optionally rename the link [3] as desired and require the page to load in a new tab [4]. Then click Add Item [5] to link the item into the module.

3. Publish the Link

Publish the link to the textbook by toggling the publish button.

NOTE: If students are unable to use Turnitin, please verify that their Canvas account has an associated email address. See this page and scroll to "How do I check and make changes to my email address configuration in Canvas?" for directions to add an email to Canvas.
