OPTIONAL EXTRA CREDIT: Attendance at Joel Selway lecture Feb 8, 11am

There is a lecture taking place that might be of interest to students; though the lecture is about Thailand, the speaker is providing lessons to understand the Israel-Palestine conflict as a part of his presentation. Here is information about the Kennedy Center event:

For events like this, I give students two extra credit points for attending (based on an honor system) and providing a paragraph-length writeup of what they learned from the event.
