Model UN Preparation
Join this CourseWhat if you could join an international affairs lab, a type of experiential learning like an internship, but through a hybrid class held both on and off campus. For up two semesters, you can increase your understanding of diplomacy and apply this understanding through simulations of multilateral negotiations, lectures, engaging labs, exercises, and coursework.
You will develop diplomacy and leadership skills and put them to use representing BYU at competitions in New York and running one in Provo, as you and make lifelong friends. Become a peacemaker, learn about forging consensus through conflict and disagreement, and improve your public speaking skills. For more than fifty years, BYU Kennedy Center’s unique Model UN program has enabled students to do just this, all while expanding your knowledge of current and international affairs, enhancing negotiating skills, and preparing them to make a difference in the world alongside many alumni who work in global business, law, diplomacy, national security, and development.
