ASSIGNMENT: Scratch Classroom Introduction
- Due Feb 2, 2022 by 3pm
- Points 35
- Submitting a text entry box, a website url, a media recording, or a file upload
Create an interactive introduction in Scratch to you and your classroom that you can share with your future students and their parents. Make learning about you and your classroom interesting. Include at least 4 interesting facts. Make your project interactive so that it's fun for your students to learn about you.
This activity should include the following blocks:
- Movement
- Sounds
- Looks
- 3 different events (e.g., when green flag clicked, when this sprite clicked, etc.)
- Loops
- Conditional Logic (if/then)
- Broadcasting
Remember to include comments in your code! Use comments to help you decompose what you want to do ahead of time as a planning tool rather than adding them as a description after-the-fact. This will help you with your planning and will save you time (taking 10 minutes up front can save 30-60 minutes when you get into coding).
Share your Scratch project and submit the shared URL as evidence of your learning. Remember to include instructions on your project so that others know how it should work.
